Jonathan Schemoul, CEO & Founder at Aleph.im

Jonathan Schemoul (AKA Moshe Malawach), CEO and founder of Aleph.im is a systems engineer and core protocol developer. Jonathan previously served as Engineer across hardware and software projects in IoT and the and financial industries in Europe.

Jonathan Behar, CEO at Icon.x World

Jonathan is a seasoned entrepreneur and technologist with a proven track record of success over the past 20 years.

He has a passion for racing, gaming, and innovation, and has leveraged his expertise to become a thought leader in the emerging field of Web3.

Jonathan has a strong network in the blockchain community and has organized several successful events, including the first big event about the Blockchain in Paris, which attracted thousands of attendees.

To pursue his vision of creating the most intense racing competition in the era of Web 3, Jonathan sold his consulting company in early 2022 and invested all the proceeds into his new venture, Icon.X World.

His singular focus and commitment to the project demonstrate his dedication and belief in its potential for success.

Akshay Malhotra, Co-Founder at Halliday

Akshay Malhotra is co-founder at Halliday, an a16z and Hashed backed growth technology company powering player onboarding and engagement for Web3 games and virtual worlds. With the onboarding suite to abstract the blockchain from the player experience and the growth suite to unleash the power of the in-game economy, Halliday is helping build and scale digital civilization.

Before Halliday, Akshay worked in the hedge fund industry, most recently at Point72, and was a PhD student in Financial Economics at Stanford (on indefinite leave), where his research interests included financial market design and banking. He graduated from Penn with degrees in finance, computer science, and data science. In his spare time, Akshay enjoys watching movies and playing Total War and chess (nowadays only online bullet games). A national master, he won numerous youth national chess titles and competed internationally for the U.S. team.

Shahzad Nathani, Head of Partnerships & Operations at Shardeum

Shahzad Nathani is the Head of Operations and Partnerships at Shardeum, an EVM-based L1 that uses dynamic sharding to achieve linear scalability. With nearly three decades of experience, he has successfully navigated the complexities of various industries, including aerospace and technology. At Shardeum, Shahzad plays a pivotal role in driving the technological revolution of the Web3 world. He fosters strategic alliances, from emerging startups to Fortune 50 companies, and supports multiple organizational functions with his deep understanding of diverse areas, from entity incorporation and jurisdictional legal matters to defining scopes of activities. With a passion for growth and an innate ability to manage expectations, Shahzad ensures the seamless flow of operations and collaborations within the organization.

Prior to Shardeum, Shahzad held a senior managerial position at Lockheed Martin, where his responsibilities included managing technology transfer solutions, large-scale development projects, and collaborations with partners and clients. Outside work, Shahzad finds solace and inspiration in music with genres ranging from classical melodies to thundering heavy metal.

The BGA also provides an open forum for individuals and companies to share knowledge and collaborate, create common standards, establish best practices, and network.
