Meet our Speakers

Vincent Ghossoub, Founder at Nifty Craft

Currently leading Nifty Craft as the most gamer-centric blockchain-based game utilizing a whole suite of smart contracts for the crafting functionalities of in-game items (NFTs), which will be decentralized to all the web3 game devs.

Generally a first mover and innovator of gaming in MENA and China, I’ve gone through the whole cycle: Copy to China → Produce with China → Copy from China, which earned me a few awards including Forbes’ and Tianfu’s.

Founded the first game studio in China targeting Arabic speakers where we created the first ever webgame MMO with authentic Arabic content from the Arab Conquests, not just Arabic language, collecting millions of users and revenues against all odds.

Simon Lapscher, Co-Founder at Liquality

Simon Lapscher is originally from Venezuela, and holds degrees in Engineering and Music from Georgia Tech. After graduation, he joined Deloitte Consulting where he worked on payments strategies for Fortune 100 companies and the Federal Reserve. In 2013, he ran into Bitcoin as a solution to help his friends and family in Venezuela overcome the country’s hyperinflation and capital controls. He co-founded Deloitte’s Blockchain practice in 2014, and later joined ConsenSys to set up their blockchain consulting business, working with the governments of Brazil and Dubai to establish their blockchain strategy. While at ConsenSys, he co-founded Liquality with the vision to enable digital autonomy for a more open and equitable world.

Shlok Khemani, Partnerships Lead at Glip

Shlok heads web3 partnerships at Glip and is responsible for onboarding games to the Glip platform. He comes from a computer science and business background. He stumbled upon the crypto space while looking for an escape from corporate life. Before Glip, he was the third person on the IndiGG team.

Maximilian Gutsche, Tokenomics Consultant at BrightNode

Max Gutsche is a Tokenomics Consultant at Brightnode, co-founder of the Token Research Cooperative, core contributor at twire DAO and creator of the Token Evaluation Toolkit. Max especially loves the innovation space at the intersection of Web3 and the platform economy. He is passionate about remote working, collaboration, and creating the tools for a decentralized, user-owned economy.

David de-Vilder, Co-Founder & CEO at Tribally

David’s background is in software engineering, product development and business transformation. He has been investing in crypto since 2018 and was introduced to NFT gaming through Axie Infinity in 2020. He wrote the first version of axie.tech from his bedroom, built the first publicly available guild tools in NFT gaming and hosted the first ever NFT-based website banner. David boasts a successful 15-year career in fintech, including 8 years at Bank of America / Merrill Lynch and has built his own technology organisation in two previous companies.

The BGA also provides an open forum for individuals and companies to share knowledge and collaborate, create common standards, establish best practices, and network.
