About the Speakers

  • Han Yoo (NOD Games) — Head of Growth/CMO of NOD Games, a game publisher providing engaging content in a decentralized economic system.
  • Sam Englebardt (Galaxy Interactive) — a media and technology investor and content producer who has created, acquired and/or financed a broad range of traditional and digital businesses and dozens of films and television shows over the past decade. Englebardt is a Co-Founder and Partner at Galaxy Digital and the Managing Partner of Galaxy’s interactive division. Investing from its $325 million Galaxy Digital EOS VC Fund (a partnership between Galaxy and software development company, Block.one), Galaxy Interactive focuses exclusively on companies operating at the intersection of interactive content, blockchain and other technologies, with particular emphasis on video game studios, eSports, digital objects and related infrastructure tech.
  • Alan Carr (Dapper Labs) — a game and systems designer at Dapper Labs, specializing in blockchain experiences. In addition to working on CryptoKitties and NBA Top Shot, he’s also helped build epic experiences at Blizzard Entertainment, written a novel, and owns over 1500 digital cats himself.
  • Frédéric Chesnais (Atari) — graduate of the French institute of political sciences (Institut d’Etudes Politiques de Paris) and holds degrees in Finance and in law. He started his career as a financial consultant and practised as a lawyer focused on merger and acquisitions. He then worked for Lazard from 1995 to 2000.
  • Jon Jordan (BlockchainGamer.biz/Steel Media) — +20 years in the games industry, two and a half years covering blockchain games, Jon Jordan is fascinated by the collision of value-based decentralized networks and interactive entertainment. Jon is editor-at-large at BlockchainGamer.biz and runs a YouTube channel and podcast as Blockchain Gaming World.
  • Michael Wuehler (Infura) — Co-Founder and Head of Operations for Infura.io. Formerly founder of NYC Ethereum, Michael is an information technologist with a passion for decentralised networks. He also possesses deep financial industry expertise, holding senior leadership roles at one of the largest retail banking institutions in the United States.
  • Bob Miles (Salad Technologies) — Founder and CEO of Salad. Bob started his career as a pilot before studying engineering and moving into the startup world. Bob has more than a decade experience in the startup space specializing in product management — he is an avid traveller, has visited North Korea twice and has a TV series on Netflix.
  • Joe Zhuo (FirstBlood) — a serial entrepreneur and investor in blockchain and fintech space since 2013. Before funding FirstBlood with the vision becoming the №1 platform in crypto and esports. He co-founded Alt-Options, the first bitcoin options platform went live in North America. He’s also a Global Entrepreneur in Residence at Babson College (501(c)(3)), ACAMS chartered anti-money laundering specialist.
  • Patrick Barille (DappRadar) — launched his first video games company at 16 (unfortunately a complete failure). Later Patrick studied in the US and Germany and started his career as a management consultant advising large multinationals. Patrick worked for companies like Nokia, Fox Mobile and several startups of which he helped 3 of them to successfully IPO. Patrick is now COO at DappRadar and looks after all commercial activities
